ABOUT SUBMITTING PHOTOGRAPHS:
- You MUST be either the photographer or the person in
the photograph. If you are not either than the photo will not be
looked at by BMXTRIX no matter how good it is. This rule pertains to
Copyright Law and can not be changed.
- You agree that upon submission of the photo to
BMXTRIX that BMXTRIX has full rights to use of the image within the website
and for promotion of the site (even if this is in another format).
This is only a license to BMXTRIX and not a forfeiture of your personal
copyright on the photograph. You agree that BMXTRIX retains the rights
to use of this photograph until such time as BMXTRIX no longer exists.
- Photographs submitted to BMXTRIX should be in a
'standard' format that can be recognized by Photoshop. These formats
include JPEG (.jpeg/.jpg), Bitmap (.bmp), TIFF (.tiff,.tif), or Photoshop (.psd).
Photographs in other formats (including .GIF) may, or may not be accepted
due to conflicts/quality issues.
- If you have never scanned a photograph before, make
sure to scan the photo at about 150-300DPI and then edit the photo DOWN to
the size you like. Just because the image looks good on your monitor
may not mean that it is big enough to be used on BMXTRIX.
- Not all photographs will be used on BMXTRIX due to
poor quality or small size. Poor quality is any photo that is blurry
in a non-artistic fashion. The photo just looks 'bad'.
- Company names/logos should NOT be on the
photograph. Photos are not for advertising names, companies, or other
sites and some photos may not be used, or may be edited by BMXTRIX to remove
the logo/name.
- If you are unsure of how to scan an image and get it
on your computer but really think that you have a high quality image for
BMXTRIX to use and would like us to handle it please send the image to this
address (include a self addressed stamped envelope if you would like the
